The mission of the Frederick County Department of Aging is to develop and administer programs and activities that support Frederick County older adults and adults with disabilities in their efforts to remain healthy, active, and independent members of the community, and to provide, coordinate, advocate for services that promote dignity and enrichment of life for all older adults, their families, and caregivers.
Many of the services we offer are made possible with the help of our amazing volunteers. We are so thankful to have them as part of our team, and so this blog is dedicated to highlighting the impact that our volunteers have on the community. Making a difference together is the most meaningful thing we could do.
